In many instances, perfection is a myth. It can handicap a person and cause the deposits of God in you to be wasted.
Many times, we want everything to be perfect before we take steps and launch into the deep of our purpose and assignment.
The perfect time to do something has nothing to do with everything being perfect already! It is the perfect time because it is the time to do it.
After three and a half years, Jesus and the Father knew it was the perfect time for Jesus to leave His earthly ministry in the hands of the disciples.
At the time Jesus was crucified (signifying the end of His earthly ministry in person), there was the weakness of doubt in Thomas, the element of betrayal in Judas, and the tendency to lie (denial of Jesus) in Peter.
There was also the tendency for the disciples to abandon the ministry to go fishing after Peter, even after Jesus had invested years into them.
They were simply imperfect people, in a society that was not ready to receive them. Yet Jesus left and sent them to go make disciples of all nations.
What mattered was that they had been with Jesus and He had deposited light in them. He had also sent them the Holy Spirit, who would guide them on the journey and serve as an enabler for them.
It was simply the right time for them to carry on the ministry because the Lord signalled it was time.
The perfect time to begin that journey is now, not when you have it all figured out.
You may not have: a tripod stand, a good phone, a good laptop, a marriage partner, all the money, the outfit, certifications, online followers, and so on.
If the Lord is asking you to launch into the deep, do so, irrespective of the prevailing circumstance.
There is no perfect time to begin that journey other than now! Do not be held down by the imperfections around. The world does not mind watching you grow, once they keep seeing value each time they encounter you.
If you’ve got any value to offer the world, don’t hold back. People with lesser value, or no value, to offer are taking the centre stage already. Step out; the world is waiting for you.

Receive the courage to begin in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
