Gen. 12:1 – Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
In our journey with God and our walk in life as believers, getting instructions and directions cannot be done away with. If we will prosper in life, then we must prioritise receiving instructions and directions from God. Many of us are facing some difficulties in life, not because the difficulties are actually meant to be, but it could be because we’re trying to navigate life on our own.
Our journey is a lot easier and better when we are guided by instructions from God. It is important for every child of God to prioritise seeking the face of God when it comes to the journey of life and the affairs of life.
And in receiving instructions from God and directions from Him, we can’t afford to be selective and choosy. You don’t just obey the instructions that you feel comfortable obeying. If you must walk with God, then you must obey every instruction, whether convenient or not.
So, if you are asking God for directions in your life, what was the last instruction He gave you? Have you obeyed? Sometimes, it’s not that God is silent; He might just be waiting for us to obey the last instruction He gave to us.
Beloved, are you finding it difficult to journey through life, and it seems like God is silent? Can you go back to when last the Lord spoke to you and what He told you? Have you done it?
God told Abraham in Genesis 12:1, leave your father’s house and your country, leave your kindred, and I will show you the land that I will take you to. If Abraham was asking God to show him the land without first leaving his father’s house or his kindred, then he would be jumping the process.
First, he was to obey the instruction of leaving his father’s house before he started asking for the land the Lord wanted to show him.
What’s that first thing the Lord has told you? Have you journeyed in that direction before you start asking for the next one?
Life is a process; so is our walk with God. We must be intentional in following the process, and by obeying the instructions that the Lord has given us, our life will be a lot easier, and our walk with God will be better.
God bless you .

The Lord help me to obey even when it’s nit convenient
That’s true, because fearing God and obeying him is the main duty of man.
I have discovered that when God is asking you to do some certain things, until that thing is done every other thing is in suspense. Just like in the case of Jonah, more especially for those who can hear and understand him already, when God is not obeyed, things can go Messi.
Help me Oh Lord to obey you always
